Cleaning Melbourne Hosts Successful Inclusive Employment Forum in Partnership with Banyule City Council’s Inclusive Jobs Service

Cleaning Melbourne recently hosted an impactful Inclusive Employment Forum, in collaboration with Banyule City Council’s Inclusive Jobs service. The forum, which took place at Cleaning Melbourne’s Greensborough office situated in the heart of Banyule City Council, brought together Banyule City Council representatives, Employment agencies, Job seekers and the Cleaning Melbourne leadership team to discuss the importance of inclusive hiring practices and how they benefit both employers and employees.
The event featured a series of engaging panels, insightful guest speakers, and thoughtful discussion focused on creating accessible and diverse workplaces for individuals of all abilities. By sharing knowledge and success stories, the forum aimed to provide insights and share the needs of employment opportunities within Cleaning Melbourne’s service delivery as well as gain valuable feedback and advice from agencies on the needs and considerations of job seekers entering the workforce. It also highlighted several barriers to employment job seekers face in the community and how Cleaning Melbourne could potentially support the transition and ongoing employment of candidates in the community.
Banyule City Council’s Inclusive Jobs Service played a vital role in facilitating the event, offering its expertise and resources to Cleaning Melbourne and employment agencies looking to integrate inclusive practices into their recruitment processes. The program has been instrumental in providing job opportunities to people who face barriers to employment, ensuring that all individuals have access to meaningful employment.
